I am literally living la vie en rose in this outfit and scenery! The beautiful Shirofugen cherry trees leave behind the most romantic trail of petals! The entire walkway was filled with the prettiest pink. I will come back to these trees years and years to photograph this beautiful scene with the bench.
I absolutely love living in the Pacific Northwest because I have never lived in a place with so much plant and garden life. Did you know that I have a spreadsheet of the different flowers and where/when they bloom in their season? So far we have had tulips, lilies, lilacs, and more. Summer brings peonies, dahlias, and irises, to name a few.
Oh, another good thing about the PNW is that the summers are around 85 degrees, sometimes colder so you will need a sweater certain days of the week (depending on the weather). That way you aren’t overheating all summer long! I love shooting with a natural landscape as a backdrop because it adds the perfect ambiance to my feminine style. How cute is this floral miniskirt paired with a light sweater?
This outfit screams girly girl! I love the small details like a dainty gold necklace, nude pumps, and a straw basket bag. Floral miniskirts have been on my radar for a while because they make your legs look so good, and they look amazing with blouses, sweaters or tank tops. A lot of miniskirts come in two-piece sets. I love mine because it has some flounce to it, adding the perfect amount of flirtatiousness to this gorgeous backdrop!
