Microblading & Powder Brows: Healing & Timeline

Microblading and powder brows are the latest obsession in the beauty world, and rightfully so because the results are amazing. I am so excited to partner with the talented Autumn of Metamorphosis Microblading who did my beautiful new brows! Microblading and powder brows can turn someone with little-to-no eyebrow hair into looking like they have full, beautiful eyebrows. All it takes is a little time under the needle (yes, they are technically a temporary or “cosmetic tattoo”). There are two rounds of tattooing and about 1-2 months of healing. Microblading and powder brows are two different treatments for different needs. I got powder done because I have a lot of hair growth. Since my hair is blonde I needed color shaded behind them to make them look filled in. I will go over the differences more later in this post.

Before getting botox my jaw felt like there was a crank attached to my jaw muscles and someone was cranking the gear around and around, tighter and tighter. After my first botox treatment I feel like my face is finally relaxed. I’ll admit, when the Allen Gabriel med spa team first reached out to me about botox I was a little hesitant. I went in for an initial meeting, but it took me 3 months to decide if I really wanted to do botox. The truth is, I have always wanted to do botox, but I didn’t want to talk about it publicly. I wanted it to be my little secret – I wanted everyone to wonder how my skin looks so amazing. That is the exact reason the Allen Gabriel med spa team reached out to me. They wanted to partner with a local influencer to get rid of the taboo of botox.
