Romantic white blouses have been my go-to for summer. They are so easy to style and they make any outfit look effortless. There is something about this ethereal style that makes me feel like a Renaissance muse.

These types of romantic white blouses remind me of something out of a Shakespeare story. Think of all the maidens in Beauty & the Beast swinging around in their flowing skirts and white blouses. Or Juliet leaning over a balcony whispering to Romeo across the garden. Part of me wants my personal style to look like something strictly out of fairytales and folklore!
A white blouse styled with a mini or maxi skirt looks so romantic! I absolutely love the cinched waist of my white blouse because it creates a beautiful silhouette. The puffed out sleeves also make the blouse look extra dainty and feminine, as well as the bow and strings in the front. I feel like a young woman in the Sound of Music ready for my solo!
Oh, don’t mind me living my best fairy life while sitting in a field of flowers. These photos may appear that I am squishing some flowers, but I promise these photos were taking with minimal environmental impact in mind! It is just an illusion of photography. In reality the landscape is actually patchy and the flowers are scattered across the prairie. I was also seated on a mossy rock for the majority of these photos so I didn’t need to sit on any to look immersed in them. If you lower the camera closer to the flowers and shoot straight ahead it makes the depth of field look like an endless field of flowers, when in reality it was very patchy!
