Wedding Guest Style Inspiration

Last weekend I attended the wedding of  my husband’s best friend. The wedding was in Chattanooga, Tennessee and it was the most quintessentially southern wedding I have ever seen. The rustic-style setting was so quaint and the venue itself was on a small farm. The actual ceremony was held in a refurbished barn, and there were were horses grazing around the pastures in the background. It really was a beautiful scene for a wedding. Although I missed my husband being there, he had recorded a video of him giving his best man speech to the groom while wearing his uniform and plate carrier. Let’s just say there wasn’t a dry eye in the venue after that. Despite flying solo for the night, I had such a blast at the wedding. I love watching people get married, it’s so special and it fills my heart with joy to see the way people look at each other right before they exchange vows and rings.

For this wedding I wore a fabulous pink maxi dress that I scored from Rent the Runway. It’s from their Slate & Willow collection. This floral pattern had my name written all over it! I adore this dress so much, not to mention it’s incredibly comfortable. Wedding season has just started so finding the perfect guest dress is very important. You don’t want to just buy any dress, preferably one you can wear to multiple events. I love this one because it can be a formal dress for an evening out, or it can be the perfect look for a wedding guest. I styled my maxi dress with a gold glitter clutch that I got at Fabulous Finds Boutique and my favorite gold Gorjana jewelry.
