There are two types of people: ones who love combat boots, and ones that could live without them. I am a HUGE fan of combat boots because they really give an outfit some attitude. They are durable, comfortable, and sure to keep your feet warm and dry during winter weather.
Growing up in Boston I always had a pair of trusty combat boots to make it through the sidewalk’s slushy snow. While there are countless options to choose from, I am sharing a few pairs from my personal collection that I can 100% vouch for.
One brand that makes combat boots that I especially love is Indigo Rd. They are the sister shoe company to Marc Fisher, who makes higher-end shoes. While MF can range in the mid hundreds, Indigo Rd is much more reasonably priced and these boots won’t cost you more than $80. You really can’ beat that! Quality boots that can resist rain and snow, for under $100. I’ll take 3 please! While I own the Itzel, Isaya and the Universal Thread sherpa boots, there are so many other styles to shop and choose from. Target’s Universal Thread line actually has some reallyyyy cute styles. While these boots are more for looks rather than durability, they still have some stylish options. You can shop the entire shoe collection here.
I think this combat boot trend is wonderful because my husband used to be in the army and I always thought it was so funny that he had to wear combat boots to work every day. Now I get to wear them every day, for the sake of fashion. Thankfully the styles we get to wear are a lot cuter than the typical military ones. Maybe whoever designers the uniforms should be reading my blog! Don’t you think? 😉
