I love the warm, neutral colors of this perfect boho maxi dress for spring. My maxi dress is a “pearl” color and matches my pale complexion perfectly. When I bought this dress I had visions of photographing it while running through fields of tall grass. I loved how the photos turned out! This location is the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, which is such a cool spot for photo shoots. I shot here last spring, and can’t wait to utilize this amazing park for more photo shoots. It has amazing trees, flowers, landscapes, buildings, houses and more – and the architecture dates back to 1849.
Some of my favorite shots are the ones of me sitting on the fence, with the tall wooden tower in the background. All of these photos give me a fairy tale vibe and I’m living for it! Seriously, this is the prettiest boho maxi dress for spring. I wish every day could be a fun, magical photo shoot like this one! Even if I was shooting a spring campaign in 37 degree weather (yes I was cold and my feet were wet and freezing, haha)!
This look can also be styled with a blue denim jacket, a wide brim hat, and a leather tote bag. you can play up with some fun accessories such as bracelets or necklaces. I wanted to keep things simple, but there are so many ways to wear this dress, and so many reasons to wear it. The dress fits so well, and would be perfect for girls with a larger bust since the halter area is very supportive and tight. in the right areas. Keep an eye out on this dress because Free People often goes back to stock best sellers with more color options!
My sandals are by Miz Mooz. I used my Amika flat iron to curl my hair, and added extra volume with the Dry Conditioner, also by Amika. It gives so much volume to my hair! I always get worried about curling my hair because I’m not the best at it. I thought it came out pretty good this time around, although there is always room for improvement. I can’t wait for more photoshoots with pretty flowing dresses like this during the spring time!
