There’s nothing like being serenaded by Tom Petty while frolicking through a field of wildflowers. I remember when Tom Petty died, I was heart broken and extremely upset. I have only cried over two celebrity deaths – Tom Petty and David Bowie. Not to start this post off as sad, but I loved their work so much and thought I would get the opportunity to see them again. I’m so lucky to have seen Tom Petty in concert in high school! This post is a reminder to live your life while it’s happening because you never know when things will slowly fade away or change for good. This same lesson comes into play when talking about the wild flower fields. I remember telling locals about this place and they had no clue it existed! These are wild Camas Lilies, and some people who have lived in Camas, WA their entire lives didn’t know they bloomed here! Most flowers don’t have a long bloom period, it’s definitely one of those “blink and you missed it” kind of things. That’s why when the sun is shining – go outside. Don’t wait until tomorrow because it could be cloudy. If the flowers are in bloom – go get ready and take some photos. They might not be there tomorrow. If you have a favorite musician – go see them in concert.  They might unexpectedly pass. Do you see where I’m headed with this?

It is the comfiest dress and all of the styles are so lovely. I paired my dress with a little block heel with a pointed toe. It adds such a whimsical touch to the look. For those wondering if I am just running through fields of flowers and trampling them for the ‘gram – no I’m not. There are a bunch of grassy patches in between the flowers. I am a hige hiker and camper, and overall conservationist. I would hope my followers respect nature the same way I do when taking photos. Leave it as you came!

So next time you see a beautiful tree or bush in full bloom – don’t say, “I’ll stop there next week!” Because you don’t know if it will be there. If there is an opportunity you need to seize it. Let’s start living in the now!
