Pink Skirt at the Oregon Peony Gardens

Well this was by far the best smelling photo shoot of all time! visiting the lovely Adelman Peony Gardens in Oregon was such a summer delight. Is it possible to be a fashion blogger and your favorite flower isn’t a peony? They are such fabulous flowers! I wanted to share a more casual look on my blog, because let’s face it. We don’t always dress up like superstars every day and everywhere. Sometimes life calls for a short skirt and a white T, which are the pieces I’m featuring in this blog post.

My bubble gum pink skirt is a summer favorite of mine. I styled it with this basic white T, but you can also play it up with a camisole or blouse. I like the pink/white contrast. Since I was at a farm I needed proper footwear, so I wore my new basic ked sneakers that are a blush pink color. I topped the look of with this fun and colorful pompom bag from Target. It’s only $25 and I get compliments on it whenever I use it. The best part is that you can easily remove the pompoms if you don’t want to rock all the fun colors.

The accessories are out to play in this look, which is the best way to play up a basic outfit. I have my Marc Jacobs watch on. I love this watch because of the minimal, cute face and the pink band. Marc Jacobs always has such an amazing selection of watches. I highly recommend one as a graduation present, summer birthday present, or even a wedding gift! Matching MJ watches would actually be a cute wedding gift! Rereading that statement, clearly I am the most unconventional person ever. But it’s a little more thoughtful than the typical blender don’t you think?
