What a dream come true to work with Chanel! I had a pinch-me moment while opening my package full of makeup goodies. Obviously, I am a huge fan of Chanel not only because of their innovative runway designs, but also their impeccable makeup! From Haute Couture, to the it-bag, to gorgeous perfumes and iconic bottles – is there anything Chanel can’t do? I have used a few Chanel Beauty products before, but I’m excited to try out their mascara products and eye shadow palette for the first time. Below you can read my Chanel beauty review, see the products outlined in a flatlay setting, and what they look like applied on yours truly! I have also wrote a brief description of each product so you get an idea of the wear, feel and formula.

Chanel Beauty Review

Rouge Allure lipstick in Pirate – This is the best shade of red. Such a classic lip color and overall iconic lipstick. I had this on all day during a weekend trip and I was really impressed by how smoothly it went on, and how it didn’t smudge. The deep red Pirate color is a beautiful shade and will make heads turn this winter!

Les 4 Ombres eye quad in Tisse Rivoli – This eye shadow palette is perfect for anyone. All of the nude colors would match any skin tone to give the eye a natural, glowing effect. I generally keep my eye shadows nude, so I was really happy to try this palette out. The eye quad comes with 2 applicators so that means each shade in the palette gets its own applicator – no having to mix colors! The eye shadow is velvety smooth and was very easy to apply and style. This is perfect for an everyday makeup look, and I already know it’s going to be one of my favorites!

Le Vernis nail polish in Pirate and Ballerina – These colors are so perfect for winter. I really love a light pink because I prefer to keep my nails a neutral color, especially with a fashion blog it’s hard to consistently swap out shades for each outfit. Nude-pinks go so well with everything. I also really love the red shade, because for one it matches my red lipstick, and two it is a great color for the Christmas and holiday season! The application is really easy and the nail polish fills in the nail, you won’t have to put on 3 layers to get the shade in the bottle.

Rouge Coco gloss in Bourgeoisie and Rose Pulpe – I absolutely adore these lip glosses. I mean how perfect are these colors? A gorgeous pink and a stunning mauve shade are both idyllic shades for lip gloss. I love how sparkly and thick the formula is. The Coco glosses feel hydrating on the lips and they have such a long wear time. You need to check out all of the perfect shades there are. I wish I had a box of these!! ?

Beauté Des Cils Nourishing Mascara Base – I had never used a mascara base prior to this, but after using this product I am a true believer. My eyelashes felt so moisturized and like I had gave them a conditioner treatment. This product is life changing and really sets an easy foundation for mascara application!

Le Volume de Chanel Mascara in Noir – I always judge mascaras on a few factors 1) the applicator 2) the formula and 3) the bottle. The applicator is so important to me because there are so many different shapes and materials used. Some wands intentionally clump, some stroke through every eyelash to give a full-coverage effect. Some formulas are thick and others are creamy. I love an eye-catching bottle, but Chanel keeps it classic with a simple black tube. I think that’s my favorite thing about this mascara is how simple, yet extremely effective it is. Chanel doesn’t need the flashy bottle because their products are truly top tier. I can’t wait to use this mascara more often! It makes my eyelashes look HUGE!

Beauté Des Cils Nourishing Mascara Base

Here is my finished look! I really love this red lipstick because it’s on the darker side. Also this eye shadow palette creates such an easy smokey eye. I love the brown shades as opposed to black because they look better on my fair skin. I was also really impressed by the mascara base, it felt like conditioner for my eyelashes and really set a nice and smooth foundation for the application of the mascara. My eyelashes were huge! Mascara wands mean everything, and I really love this mascara because it fans out your eyelashes instead of clumping them together with a thick formula. These products are perfect for an everyday makeup look!
