I am so happy that we are quickly approaching the fall season. It is my favorite season for so many reasons such as Halloween, apple picking, pumpkin patches, and let’s be real – pumpkin spice everything.

As a September baby I fully recognize that the month of September can still be pretty hot, and it can even feel like summer for the majority of the time. That’s why late August and early September is a great time to start curating your pre-fall wardrobe. Try incorporating warm-weather styles that can easily transition to fall and winter looks with the addition of booties, cardigans and coats.
There are so many great transitional pieces such as this red blouse, that can also be styled with a motojacket. I also love this polkadot jumpsuit that is a great summer piece, but would also be a nice look to have for a winter getaway to somewhere warm (it’s never too early to start thinking about vacation style, because let’s be real at this point we take vacations all year-round). I love the color of this maxi dress because it incorporates light summer shades with the colors of autumn. Paired with some brown booties, a teddy coat and a leather satchel it would be the perfect summer-to-fall transition look. No matter what your fall activity there is a style and shade to suit you: plaid, green, brown, yellow, and burnt orange. I can’t wait to start wearing these styles and prints!
