Splendid Summer Maxi Dress

Daisies are such a delight, and they make the perfect backdrop for my Splendid summer maxi dress. In fact, this location is on a hillside behind a construction lot.  It’s proof that the most unbelievable places are really in our own backyards. I didn’t have to drive down the gorge for an hour to find this spot, it was just sweet serendipity!

My Splendid summer maxi dress is the perfect option for a hot summer night, a morning of brunch, or for running errands. The fabric is amazing quality, and it is actually pretty lightweight despite how sturdy and long it is. I love the light blue shade with the accent color stripes. I am also a huge fan of the light pink and white version of this dress. This Splendid summer maxi dress reminds me of summers on the beach. I remember last summer I visited the Salishan Resort and found a similar field of daisies, but it was alongside the ocean with the salty breeze in the background.

This dress is a wonderful option for summer because of how easy and effortless it is. Just slip the dress on with a pair of your favorite sandals, and boom you are ready to go (I did mention it’s great for running errands!). I opted to add some flare with layered necklaces and a few pieces of army candy. The glittering golds look so lovely in the sunset!

I have some exciting things planned for the month of August, so I will be spending the rest of July getting ready. My husband and I are planning a few trips to the Southwest of the United States and will be camping out of our Jeep. Don’t you worry – I’ll be packing a little suitcase with my favorite outfits to photograph along the way. We are ending our trip at Burning Man and I could not be more exited. It is going to be an amazing experience!
