Rocking Around The Christmas Tree

A few weeks ago I went Christmas tree hunting with my husband at the cutest Christmas tree farm. Of course I had to take the scenic opportunity for a photo shoot! These gorgeous trees make the perfect backdrop for a holiday shoot, and even for a few Christmas card opportunities with my husband.

One of my favorite holiday staple items is a plaid mini skirt. They are so easy to style and look so festive. You can wear them all winter long with a thick pair of tights (like these Spanx ones), and with a warm teddy bear coat on top! 

I have linked a bunch of plaid mini skirt styles for you to shop. Unfortunately the one I am wearing is no longer available, but I’m sure you can be inspired by all of these gorgeous styles. I paired mine with this lovely turtleneck top that has the cutest shoulder ruffle details!

Also – after visiting two christmas tree farms I ended up getting a fake tree. My husband won’t be home for when I have to take it down so I didn’t want to try and fight a 10 footer down the stairs by myself ?? After spending the weekend in Boston I’m definitely feeling the Christmas spirit ❤️ Stay tuned for that blog post!
