Blue Knit Sweater at Lake Tahoe

My first time in South Lake Tahoe, California certainly didn’t disappoint. Thankfully I had my blue knit sweater to keep me warm during October weather! Scott and I stayed in an Airbnb cabin in South Lake Tahoe. This area has so much adventure to offer. You can spend your day at the lake paddleboarding, you can cross the state line to Nevada to gamble at a casino, or you can go on a hike in the gorgeous mountains surrounding the lake.

On Lake Tahoe we went kayaking at Sand Harbor Beach. The Tahoe water is crystal clear, and is the prettiest shade of blue. It makes you want to jump in for a swim, and in October we probably could have since the water was still warm! For those of you wondering how I got on this rock… well I channeled my inner Spiderman and jumped it! I would NOT have been happy if I had fallen in, but sometimes you have to do what it takes for the shot. Wearing sneakers certainly helped. These Nike Free’s dry quickly if they happen to get wet!
My blue knit sweater is so cozy for fall and winter. I wanted to add some contrast to my outfit so I paired it with these bright red sunglasses. My distressed denim jeans could handle all of the adventuring I did. More activities included bike riding, gambling at the casino (I turned $20 into $90 playing slots lol), and going to Oktoberfest. Our last day in California I met up with a friend who works at an exotic car dealership. We got dinner at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood then Scott and I hopped on a plane back to PDX. It was such a fun trip and I can’t wait to go back to Tahoe to hit the slopes ❄
