BHLDN Formal Dresses: What to Wear To A Summer Wedding

Happy summer everyone! In this post I am sharing one of my favorite brands and their selection of gorgeous formal wear. BHLDN formal dresses are the perfect option for a summer wedding.

BHLDN has so many different styles at amazing price points. I really love my pink lace Virdia dress. I received this dress complimentary from the brand after doing a collaboration with BHLDN on their beautiful selection of bridal dresses. I was really impressed with the quality after seeing it firsthand, and I immediately fell in love with the brand. It encapsulates a bohemian spirit while maintaining a fairy tale aspect.

Now we can gush over the beautiful selection of bridal dresses all day, but something I really love about the BHLDN formal dresses is that they have so many unique styles to choose from. These dresses don’t need to be worn as a wedding guest, but certainly fit the occasion too. The BHLDN formal dresses collection can be worn to a black tie event, a birthday party, prom, and beyond. The selection of formal dresses is fantastic – and there are many sartorial statements that will to suit any occasion. I love this off-the-shoulder floral print maxi dress, and this delicately embroidered midi-dress. I wish I owned like 15 of these dresses because they are all so stunning and would be perfect for some dreamy photo shoots!

While taking these photos I couldn’t stop smiling. If you’ve been following my blog you might notice I don’t smile much in photos. When wearing something so whimsical and pretty, how can you not smile? I felt like a Disney princess in this dress! Another thing I LOVE about this dress is that it has the twirl factor. The skirt lifts up in the wind and the lace detail is front and center. I bought this bouquet of flowers at the farmer’s market, and thought they would compliment the dress perfectly! Although peony season just ended, my bouquet was full of peonies and other pink pretties. Can you tell what my favorite color is from this blog post alone? 😛 I thought this outfit looked very bridal, be it a wedding guest who just caught the bouquet, the bridesmaid, or even mother of the bride! Either way, you will know you will look absolutely darling holding a bouquet in this dress!
