Chicwish Watercolor Dress

This Chicwish watercolor dress looks so pretty against these recently rained on peonies. Something I heard as a child that has always stuck with me is โrain is a festival of water.โ It means that you shouldnโt look at rain as a bad thing, but instead as a celebration.
Dress: Chicwish (skirt version here)
These photos were taken right after it rained on the peony fields at Adelman Peony Gardens. Rainy days in the Pacific Northwest are common, but I am forever grateful for them because they bring us an abundance of beautiful flowers, plants and trees. Spending time around these peonies was such a joy and I think my Chicwish watercolor dress contrasted perfectly with the sea pink. I bought 10 stems which bloomed into gorgeous (and giant) peony flowers. I am excited for the flowers that the summer equinox will bring such as dahlias, sunflowers and irises.
This Chicwish watercolor dress (that was gifted to me by the brand) is perfect for any spring or summer formal occasion. They have a variety of patterns and even have either prints available as a dress or skirt.
After the rainfall the clouds were broken up by sunlight. Each peony was sparkling with dew. This Chicwish watercolor dress made me feel like a rain drop among the pretty blooms.
Donโt forget there will always be sunshine after rain, and instead of looking at rain as a nuisance or a bad thing, look at it as a festival of water โ๏ธโจ
