Hollywood Glam Makeup: Charlotte Tilbury

I love my Charlotte Tilbury makeup because it reminds me of Hollywood glam. The rose gold packaging is incredibly chic, and all of my Charlotte Tilbury pieces stand out among my favorite beauty products. The packaging reminds me of oldschool Hollywood glamour. While the company is based in the UK, it also has a heavy presence in LA and the red carpet scene. With product names like Filmstar and Wonderglow, it’s no wonder every other Hollywood starlet (and Victoria’s Secret angel) is getting their makeup done by Charlotte herself.

Timeless makeup products that are an essential in every woman’s makeup bag. Not only are these products gorgeous to look at, they are also top tier quality. Makes sense since all of Hollywood’s finest have CT as their go-to for events. My top two favorite products are Charlotte’s Magic Cream and the Lip Cheat Lip Liner. The cream is incredibly hydrating and I’ve been using it as the last step to my skincare routine for a few weeks now. My skin loves this stuff and the name says it all – it’s truly magic! I also love the lip liner because it’s the perfect nude shade. You can pair it with the lipstick in the shade Bitch Perfect. The lip liner makes drawing in lips so easy and effortless, and makes my lips look naturally larger!

Filmstar Bronze & Glow Contour Duo

This contour duo has become my favorite contour I use. It’s a light shade of bronze and gives my fair skin the perfect contoured look. When paired with the glowing highlighter, it gives the face a lovely contoured appearance without going on too heavy. After applying my foundation I use a brush to stroke under my cheekbones and along my natural cheekbone line. I also brush it on the sides of my nose, the top of my head on both the left and right side (along the hairline above the eyes), and I lightly brush my jawline. The contouring adds definition to your features and gives the face a nice shape.

Wonderglow Face Primer

I have used this primer a few times and it works really well, I can’t wait to use it more in different makeup looks. I have a lot of friends who swear by this stuff. I think my issue with primers is that my skin is generally well hydrated before I put on my makeup, so these days I’ve been skipping the primer. When I did use this under my foundation my skin never felt dry or flaky. I like that it has a bit of shimmer and tint to it to help balance out the skin tone. You can also use this over makeup, to give it that full Wonderglow effect. I like to dab a little on my fingers and apply it like a liquid highlighter. The shimmer adds a nice effect to a finished makeup look.

Luxury Eyeshadow Palette

This palette is so sexy! The Charlotte Tilbury color aesthetic is definitely on point. I love the colors so much and they all work really well together. You can get a lot of looks out of this palette. I love the nudes and browns with the deep red. The bottom left is a golden brown that has the perfect amount of shimmer. You can easily create a brown smokey-eye with this palette, and even give it an extra pop of color if you add some of that deep red to it.

K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick

This lipstick is wonderful! I can’t get over the chic packaging – it looks and feels like a million bucks! The formula is more on the creamy side and the wearability is long lasting. The shiny formula helps lips look bigger and fuller. When paired with the Lip Cheat Lip Liner, you can’t go wrong. These two are a match made in heaven. I seriously want the Charlotte Tilbury lip liner and lipstick in every single color. This lipstick goes on so smoothly. The Bitch Perfect shade is the one pictured here, and it is the perfect nude color with a hint of pink.

Lip Cheat Lip Liner

I can’t live without this lip liner! I had been in the market for a new lip liner, but never knew what to get because i have so many different shades of lipstick. I love this particular color in Pillowtalk because it matches my natural lip color so it makes lining and drawing in my lips very easy. The formula is so smooth and stays on all day. My new favorite thing to do with makeup it to draw on my lips. You can get your lips bigger without having to get fillers or surgeries – all you need is to master the lip liner! That’s what I’m trying to do since I have a small upper lip. This Charlotte Tilbury lip liner helps me give my top lip that extra plump look without any needles!

Charlotte’s Magic Cream

When my day is over and it’s time for my makeup to come off I always grab my Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream for my skincare routine. I use this as a moisturizer in the mornings and evenings. A little goes a long way, and the formula is a perfect soufflé of hydrating cream. After I apply my serum and let it dry, I apply this cream and it soaks into my face. It is extremely hydrating and has helped my skin so much in the makeup application process. My skin always feels fresh and hydrated, and like it has a healthy oil balance to it. You know that dewy glow we all strive for? Well it’s all in the Magic Cream!
