Amika Hair Products Review

Now introducing you to my new favorite hair care brand – amika! Recently I have been trying to dive into hair. I’m very lucky that I have strong, thick hair that dries effortlessly. I always tend to air dry with a little styling cream and then I’m off. As a fashion blogger, I’m always trying new trends with clothes, so I figured in my fashionable efforts I need to learn how to properly style my hair.

This is where amika comes in to play. Now I’ve always been a fan of curls, but I was never really good at them. After watching video after video of how to curl my hair with a straightener I finally was getting the hang of it. It really is all about practice! When amika sent me its amazing flat iron, called the Digital Titanium Glide Styler, I was so excited because the curls look effortless and the styler was so easy to pull through my hair. I highly recommend this product for beginners and pros alike, it’s a wonderful tool and every girl needs their go-to flat iron! After I completed layering my curls I sprayed on some Touchable Hairspray. I love this hairspray because it really lives up to it’s name – it doesn’t weigh down your curls and make them feel crusty. I was able to run my hands through my hair as well as keep my curls in all day!

When I let my hair air dry I spritz it with some of amika’s Un. Done Texture Spray. It gives that beachy, slept in look, which if you haven’t noticed is one of my favorite styles. It also adds volume so your hair doesn’t look flat! The perfect combo! Another amazing product that amika makes is the Perk Up Dry Shampoo. I know dry shampoo is every girl’s go-to on Mondays (am I right?!) and between the heavenly scent of this dry shampoo and it’s super strength, every girl needs this secret weapon in their beauty closet. The next two products are the Nourishing Mask, which is a deep conditioner you use in the shower, and the Silken Up Dry Conditioner, which is essentially the same thing as dry shampoo, but instead of giving your hair a clean effect, it gives it a softer, detangled look.

When used together, these products deliver UNBEATABLE and FLAWLESS hair. I will be a forever fan of amika because their products really do everything they promise on the bottles, not to mention the packaging design totally kicks ass! The packaging reminds me of Jefferson Airplane song come to life. I’m so excited about these products and I know that they will take my hair game to infinity and beyond.
