A Very Boston Christmas: Kimpton Nine Zero Hotel

Although it may be cold, Boston during the Christmas season is one of the best times of year to visit. During my trip to my hometown I stayed at the Kimpton Nine Zero Hotel, which overlooks the Boston Common. The view of the Prudential Center and John Hancock tower overlooking the Christmas lights in the Common is beautiful. You can even see the Charles River and Cambridge in the distance! Seeing Boston all lit up with Christmas lights really brought some holiday cheer into my life!

The Kimpton Nine Zero Hotel is nestled in the BEST and busiest location in Boston. The boutique hotel has an old-timey charm, just like the city of Boston itself. One of my favorite things about this hotel is the eclectic artwork. The French Bulldog painting that was in my room reminded me of my college mascot, Rhett the Boston Terrier of Boston University. The interior design of this boutique hotel is very charming, and the attention is in the details such as textures and colors.

The hotel’s ambient lighting creates a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere. To me the vibe felt art deco meets modern design. The walls of the Kimpton Nine Zero Hotel are moody grey and sleek black hues, with small decor items gilded with gold. Each room is furnished with an Eames leather chair. The headboards of the beds were made of fabulous leather, and the most plush pillows waited underneath for a sleepy head. Waking up to a Boston skyline like that was incredible. I love discovering new ways to see my city, and this hotel could not be in a better location to do everything you can while in Boston. With Frog Pond ice skating across the street, and the trees lit up at Faneuil Hall – it’s such a pretty time of year to gallivant around the city!

The Kimpton Nine Zero Hotel is located on Tremont St. right in the heart of Boston. Some of Boston’s top locations that are walking distance from this hotel are: Faneuil Hall, the Boston Common, Downtown, Chinatown, the North End, Newbury St., and the Old North Church. I love that this hotel is steps away from the train, cabs, or anything you could possibly want to do in Boston. Its location is almost too good to be true!
During my stay I received the hotel’s special hair and makeup service called To The Nines. This services brings a little glam right to your hotel room. In partnership with Bostons luxury Che Maksou Salon, To The Nines brings professional hair and makeup artists to your hotel room to glam you up for any type of event. Getting my hair and makeup done on the 19th floor of this gorgeous hotel made me feel so fabulous and special! I got so much hair advice and lots of compliments on my makeup from my Instagram stories (check out my Boston highlights!)
