Hello everyone! I am so sorry I’ve been MIA. I haven’t posted on my blog in almost THREE WEEKS – I can’t believe it’s been so long, but I have been very busy with work and pursuing new things. Hopefully I will have some great news to share with you all next week. I will definitely be following up if all goes will with my big job interview!! Fingers crossed I get it! Another life update: Scott is at Ranger school in Georgia for a few months so right now I’m currently flying solo. I do get bored often, but I got to speak to him on Friday and it turned my whole month around. I’ve been keeping busy by hanging out with friends – in a military relationship having a strong support system of awesome girlfriends is a necessity. Yesterday was my friend Brittnay’s wedding and I had a blast! It made me so excited for my own wedding and seeing all the couples on the dance floor made me wish Scott was with me. He’s not the best dancer, but at least he tries!! 😛
I recently went to my friend Samantha’s 10 year anniversary party for her local boutique, Fabulous Finds. I bought this blue dress on sale and it was the cutest find! The dress reminds me of a Grecian goddess and would be perfect for a trip to Santorini! It’s perfect for summer and I can’t wait to wear it to date night when Scott comes home. Along with being a cute yet sexy, this dress is incredibly easy to accessorize. It dresses up or down with flats or heels. I paired my look with some silver gladiator sandals that have been a wardrobe staple of mine for years.
I styled this sapphire blue dress with gold and silver accessories. It’s very simple to combine these metals: I mixed these colors in my arm party then topped off my look with a pair of golden Tom Ford sunglasses. The contrast of gold and silver is so beautiful and I encourage you to try and mix and match the two colors more often! A stacked bracelet with mixed metals is the perfect way to combine the two colors. That way you can wear your favorite gold sunglasses with your favorite silver heels without looking like a bozo!
